I use Twitter Lists for my client work and here I share with you some lists that I have created that will give you food for thought for your own Twitter List creation.
Private Lists
Lists that you create do not have to be public. You can create private lists. I create a private lists for all my clients, particularly to keep an eye on their competition. I can add them to a list without having to follow them. If I see a campaign that is working, I can make suggestions to client and help create similar campaigns that will work for them.
Industry Lists
Another client works in the fashion industry and I have created a public list called Fashion. For this client I follow all things fashion. This enables me to retweet useful and relevant tweets into their Twitter stream at regular intervals. Remember Tweets are about sharing other content, not just yours.
News List
For a French based client I have created a public news list, again so that I can retweet relevant news items into their news feed that is aligned to their industry. Again this creates a good mix of Tweets directing followers back to their website and also well thought out content that is about their industry.
Supplier List
Another client is all about skin and beauty and I have created a public Supplier List. I will regularly visit this list for them and favourite a number of tweets that I can then retweet during the week. This is a great relationship builder as suppliers regularly see that my client is retweeting their content and Suppliers will support my client by regularly retweeting client content too.
Advertisers List
For another client I have created a private Advertiser List. Again I regularly visit this list so that I can retweet their advertisers content during the week. Again this nurtures existing relationships and exposes advertiser content into a different audience. Plus I can help advertisers follower count increase by doing regular #FF for them.
Research List
For all of my client work I create research lists in my own account @MicalaWilkins, and use my own account as a central research base by creating lists for a variety of topics. I regularly review these research lists and use content to share from my client accounts.

Remember if your lists are Public then whoever you add to that public list will see that you have added them and they may wish to subscribe to that list.
