
Here's a snap shot of the social media activity that I am working on in September
· One client is looking to recruit so I have suggested that we make the most of identified private Facebook groups that have high numbers and are interacting on a daily basis to draw out potential candidates.
· Another client wants to tap into Gas Safety Week in the UK which takes place between 16-22nd September. In addition to his offline advertising, they want to ramp up awareness of this initiative across social media platforms. We have identified 2 very different target markets with a special offer that will appeal. We have mapped out the various social media messages that will be used in the run up and during #GSW13.
· Another client has new products to add to their current product range. We have already whetted the appetite of their fan base on Facebook with images and messages and we are working with a Facebook developer who is in the final stages of a fantastic F-commerce site which will allow immediate purchase of these items directly from their Facebook page.
Marketing across social media platforms is an effective way to promote your product or service. Businesses that are invisible on social media will be missing out on an opportunity to engage.
September is certainly looking busy and I shall be keeping a sharp eye on the results. But it doesn't stop there, Christmas is just around the corner and work is already underway for some great campaigns.
