Let the love shine on for small business owners here in France. We have plenty of challenges and you will be amazed at how we deal with them! We are responsible for finding clients, marketing our businesses, navigating the changes that happen regularly, stay competitive, keep ourselves motivated and disciplined and do tasks that we mind not enjoy doing. We have limited or no benefits, sick days are a rarity, with many of us working through illness. We are responsible for our old age, and have no holiday pay.
We all have our reasons for being here in France. Being self employed is a necessity for many but for others it is a life style choice. It does have its perks. For some, its the freedom to spend quality time with children and family. There's no 9 to 5 for us self employeds but we do have the luxury of being our own boss and be flexible with our working patterns as and when we need to. When the sun is shining, we are able to clear our calendars, pack up a picnic and head off to the beach or a park or our own gardens and enjoy the weather.
I shall look forward to showcasing another 14 businesses in 2018!
Yours socially
Micala ♥
