A few weeks ago, I participated in a Facebook Fest hosted by one of France's largest online support groups - Ladies in Business in France. My page had received an upturn in numbers so I decided to offer a freebie of 1 to 1 training to a fellow business owner who had helped tip my page numbers favourably.
That lucky business was business owner Jacqueline Taylor of Taylor Made Beauty, based in Sauze Vaussais. I met with Jacqui on Thursday June 15. I know Jacqui socially and from online interactions and it was great to learn about her business and the enthusiasm and passion she has for what she does. We talked through questions that she had relating to Facebook and chatted through creative ways that she could really maximise on engagement. It's great talking to business owners who get it, value it and appreciate that social media does have an impact. Particularly when many of her local clients participate in communal Facebook groups, and Facebook is where many of her clients interact with her. It makes sense for Jacqui's business to have a continual presence, her line of business is not just for Christmas or indeed summer and our discussions unearthed plenty that Jacqui can do to take advantage of a well connected community of people both online and off.
